Four-Club Rollout for a Fitness Chain — Saudi Arabia

A chain rollout is a different problem from a single club, because the cost of variation compounds. Four clubs with four different specifications means four spares inventories, four maintenance routines and no ability to move equipment between sites.

The standardised package

We proposed one package for a 340 m² floor and repeated it four times: twelve selectorised and plate-loaded stations, two half racks, one dual cable tower, a dumbbell range to 45 kg, four cardio units and a small functional area. The client reviewed one club, approved the drawing, and the remaining three were identical apart from branding and mirror positions.

Private label across four sites

All four clubs carry the chain's brand on frame plates and upholstery tags, with one approved colour reference held on file. Because the artwork was approved once and applied to a single production run, the branding cost per site was lower than a one-off studio would pay.

Staged supply

The rollout was split into two containers: clubs one and two together, clubs three and four six weeks later. That sequencing allowed each site to be fitted out and opened before the next shipment arrived, converting capital into revenue earlier rather than holding four complete sets in a warehouse.

Spares programme

We supplied one consolidated spares kit per club — cables, pulley bearings, pad sets, rubber feet, stack pins and grip sleeves — and one central kit holding the fast-moving items for all four. Because the specification was standardised, the parts are interchangeable between clubs, which is the practical reason to standardise in the first place.

Result

Four clubs opened across twenty-two weeks from first deposit. The chain has since ordered two further sites on the same package without a further drawing cycle.
