Weight Plates — what to check before you order
Plates are judged by three things: whether the weight printed on them is true, whether the bore stays round, and whether the insert stays fixed to the disc. Cheap plates fail all three.
Our bumper plates use a solid rubber disc with a stainless steel centre insert fitted under compression. Coated plates are cast with a urethane or rubber jacket over a machined hub. Both are supplied with weight tolerance figures on the packing list.
